Chapter 3518: Supreme Palace Recruit
There was one other thing the twins’ group brought with them as they made their way out of the Evernight World, Qwerty’s old body. With the new Qwerty giving it up, Rean and Roan simply couldn’t leave it there. This time, however, Rean didn’t add any new code to it. He simply put that old Qwerty’s body in a nice place in the Dimensional Realm, leaving it alone.
As already expected from the start, the journey out of the Evernight World took a long time. It wasn’t before nine months that the CAU-E Unit brought the twins to the border between the Evernight World and Divine Realm. Well, compared to the hundreds of years the twins and the sect were prepared for it to take, managing to do that in just nine months was already great news.
There were a few dangers on the way. After all, even if the CAU Units marked the safe routes over the years, changes were bound to happen. Nonetheless, those risks weren’t anything the twins’ group couldn’t deal with, and they never met any creature that could cause them much trouble.
If anything, that was a good opportunity to send Zangeshu and Rifindio out to battle, especially Zangeshu. After all, his cultivation technique didn’t allow for him to slack off.
The night in the sky began to change, and the light of the day slowly took place in the distance. Yet, it was easy to see the division between these two states, a clear border separating the inside and outside of the Evernight World. The CAU-E Unit didn’t bring the twins’ group all the way there, though. From this point onwards, there was no risk of getting lost in the Evernight World anymore. "I won’t follow you outside. You know that it isn’t a good thing for us to appear out there."
Roan didn’t mind. "It’s fine."
Rean and the others also nodded. "Thank you for bringing us all the way here. Just this alone already paid for the help we gave you in the City problem. Tell CAU03 that if fate allows, we shall meet again."
The CAU-E Unit accepted the request and turned around, flying back into the Evernight World.
Kentucky didn’t waste time and flew straight out of the Evernight World. No snow could be seen anymore, only a gigantic expanse of greenery and forest. With their Divine Senses, they caught the sights of a few Demon Beasts in that forest, but most of them weren’t stronger than Stage Four or Five.
Rean then took out his CD, connecting to the Werdlem Network. "Sure enough, there are no restrictions here. The Werdlem Network can be accessed without issues."
"Where are we at the moment?" Roan asked straight away.
Rean checked the map, and soon, he found their location. "We are at the south side of the Calamigas Continent. From what is said here in the network, it is a pretty weak continent, and you won’t find any experts beyond the Elemental Space Realm. In fact, the only Elemental Space Realm expert here is the Continent Representative."
"So they also have the Continent Representative thing in this place, uh?" Kentucky commented.
The Representative was someone who received the blessing of a continent. Not only did it make them invincible on the same level while inside that continent, but it also contributed greatly to one’s cultivation. All the top experts wanted to be a continent representative for that same reason.
"Whatever," Roan didn’t seem to care.
*Zush!*
In the next second, he disappeared, knowing that staying outside wouldn’t be of any use anymore. ’I’m going back to training. You fly around and see what we can do next.’
*Zush!*
Celis didn’t say anything and simply entered the Dimensional Realm after Roan. Without a doubt, he was going straight back to cultivation.
Rean shrugged, turning to Rifindio and Zangeshu. "What about you? Kentucky and I will fly for a while."
Zangeshu got up. "Send me back to the Dimensional Realm. I have already more than made up for my necessary combat exercises for the time being. I would rather continue working on improving the System Armor."
Rean nodded and waved his hand, sending Zangeshu back inside.
"I’m flying with you guys," Rifindio wasn’t in the mood to stay put in the Dimensional Realm, though.
"Suit yourself," Rean and Kentucky nodded.
The trio then flew to the nearest city in there. On the way, Rean researched the Great Void Shifter of the Divine Realm. It was located in the Danalil Continent, one of the central continents of the Divine Realm. As for the journey there...
"This would take forever..." Rean couldn’t help but sigh.
He wasn’t wrong. The Realm of Gods, back in the Lisan Universe, was indeed big. However, ultimately, it existed on Hyeoumu’s back, the big turtle. It had a limit. This Divine Realm, on the other hand, has no such thing. It is just an almost infinitely vast land that continued forever. Hyeoumu’s full size wasn’t even a thousandth of the size of this Divine Realm.
Truth be told, that’s how a Divine Realm should be. Lisan Universe was just too much of an anomaly. That even made the twins wonder. Had the Lisan Universe ever had a Divine Realm? Hyeoumu and Kafan, Kafan being Roan’s Master when he was a Death Spirit, probably knew the answer, but since the twins never asked, they never said anything either. It wasn’t like that was an important piece of information back then anyway.
So, even if they took Long-Distance Teleport Formations, let alone the costs, just the time alone to get there would be in the thousands of years.
"Rifindio, aren’t there any teleport formations that can bring us all the way?" Rean asked Rifindio on the side.
Rifindio nodded. "Of course! After all, what would the Inquisition Halls do if they needed to send experts to different parts of the Divine Realm at a moment’s notice? However, such Teleport Formations are tightly guarded and strictly regulated. As far as I know, you need a member of the Supreme Palace or at least the Palace’s permission for it to be activated."
Rean pondered a bit. "We can try to sneak in and I can make it activate."
Rifindio shook his head, though. "It won’t work. The Palace thought of everything. For it to work, the other side of the Teleport Formation also has to be activated at the same time. Simply put, you ask the Supreme Palace, and they contact the other side. Then, both sides activate their Teleport Formations simultaneously, and only then will you teleport there. Activating just one side, even if we manage to sneak in there and activate it, won’t be of any use if the other side doesn’t do the same."
Rean sighed in response, patting Rifindio’s shoulder. "I guess we will have to use our Supreme Palace Recruit here..."
At that moment, Rifindio was certain he wouldn’t like what was coming for him.
