“Worldly essences can be this magical?” Orchidcore remarked.

They were aware of how the world could heal in an awfully slow manner. Mortals would never see any real changes since it required generations and eras.

Cultivators had the privilege of living long enough. Mountains shattered by them could grow again with ample time.

“Emperors and desolate gods, primal ancestors and heaven-slayers, all magical enough. They are also created via the cultivation of worldly energy. No living beings are spared from it, it’s a matter of how much they can sense it.” Li Qiye said.

“Right.” Princess Chen remarked: “But we cultivate chaos true energy.”

“Both from the same branch.” Li Qiye said.

“Chaos true energy originates from the body, no? Born from the self’s dao.” Monk Zhu said.

“Because you are a cultivator, what if you are not? Still born from worldly energy, the source of life.” Li Qiye said.

“So no worldly energy means no life, chaos true energy wouldn’t exist.” Li Xian said.

“Close enough.” Li Qiye said.

“How do you know this?” The others stared at Li Qiye.

He looked so normal but everything changed whenever he opened his mouth. He seemed to know everything.

“The more you read, the more you know.” Li Qiye said.

“Really? We’ve read many scrolls as well.” Princess Chen couldn’t help but say.

She was not boasting but due to their background and current position at the academy, they had access to many texts.

“Not enough.” Li Qiye smiled.

“...” The group didn’t expect the insult.

“You’re about my age, there’s no way you’ve read more books than me.” Princess Chen said.

“I’ve read books that not even your ancestor had access to.” Li Qiye said.

“Now you’re just being ridiculous. Do you know who my highest ancestor is?” Princess Chen said.

“Visceraless Young Noble.” Mu Hu answered.

“Mu Hu, you have to stop acting so silly too, Mister disciple of Desolate Frontier.” She glared at him.

“Hehehe.” He smiled innocently.

The group couldn’t do anything since they were used to his act.

“Visceraless Young Noble, the crab from Sacred Mountain that likes to play in the mud?” Li Qiye smiled.

His casual comment startled the group.

“Ah, Fellow Daoist, you shouldn’t say that.” Mu Hu himself had to stop Li Qiye.

Li Xian came over and tugged on his sleeve, whispering: “Young Noble, Visceraless Young Noble is the strongest cultivator in Old World right now, please watch it.”

Everyone feared his gauntlet including Seventy-two Origin Ancestor, Trinity, and Dugu Yuan.

“I wonder if you dare say the same thing before my ancestor.” The princess said.

“Why not?” Li Qiye smiled.

“Hmph, I bet your legs will tremble with fear while facing him.” The princess said angrily.

“The trembling legs won’t necessarily be mine.” Li Qiye said.

The group stared strangely at the fearless man. Visceraless was a supreme existence looked up by all. Not to mention juniors such as themselves, even primal ancestors and heaven-slayers feared him.

Fortunately, Princess Chen didn’t pursue the issue since she didn’t mind Li Qiye. Otherwise, a fight could have ensued.

“Hmph, come to Sacred Mountain and meet my ancestor when you have the chance. At that point, a single aura strand of his will crush your courage.” She said.

“Sure, you can take me there.” Li Qiye smiled.

“I’ll relish that moment.” She pouted.

Li Qiye smiled and didn’t say anything else.

As they crossed the narrow dao path, they made it to a vast ocean with strong waves.

“I thought Old Ruin was obliterated entirely.” Orchidcore said.

“It’s been a while, it might have healed.” Li Xian said.

“A small pond with enough worldly energy can turn into an ocean. It depends on the quality and quantity of energy.” Li Qiye said.

“Should we try to cross it? I believe this might be dangerous.” Monk Zhu commented.

“Ye Sha.” Li Xian brought this up again.

“Is Ye Sha real?” Orchidcore said.

“My seniors think so, but sealed by the supremes of Life and Death Heaven.” Li Xian said.

“Could that explosion might have taken down the seal?” Princess Chen asked.

“I don’t know.” Li Xian had no response.

“Ye Sha is rumored to be powerful, enough to devour primal ancestors.” He added while scratching his head.

“That’s hard to believe.” Monk Zhu said.

As the group was talking, Li Qiye looked up and saw a boat descending from the sky and landing before them.

The steerer was none other than a girl in a gray robe. She had a cold expression with an alluring yet strong figure. Her body seemingly contained incredible tension and strength, always on the verge of erupting.

An imperial aura emanated from her and made the young ones feel as if a mountain was pushing down on their chest.

Her face itself surprised them because of how scary it was.
