“What did you say?” Zhou Jiaojiao questioned with a stunned expression on her face.

“I said that I would never look at you! Never in a million years!” Ye Liu’s voice was filled with disgust. “My wife is not the one who is in the wrong here, it is me. And yet she has never blamed me for not being able to carry her child. If you were in her shoes you would have drowned me in a pond. Go and tell that mer who egged you to do this that there is no point in clinging onto me.”

“He might as well save himself first.”
