“Then we can only call the physicians to take a look at your condition,” Yu Dong stated in a cold voice. “We will then know whether or not I am lying.”

As she spoke, she turned to look at Physician Gu, who nodded and stepped forward. She took hold of Yu Linyun’s wrist and studied her pulse carefully.

After a few seconds, she pulled her hand away and looked at Yu Linyun with pity in her eyes, “It seems like Madam Yu is speaking the truth.”

Yu Linyun felt her head explode; she looked at Doctor Gu in shock before scrambling to her feet. She shrilly yelled with disbelief etched on her face, “You are lying… You—you are with her, right? She must have told you to say these words right.”

Doctor Gu’s expression turned sullen when she heard Yu Linyun’s blaming words. She snorted and coldly rebuked, “I am a doctor, Madam Yu. Even if I have some personal grudges with you, I will not lie to you. Your body is indeed poisoned and you are no longer able to have children. If you do not believe me, then you can call other physicians to take a look at your condition.”

Yu Linyun, of course, didn’t believe that she was incapable of getting a mer pregnant with her child. She immediately called a few more physicians to take a look at her. But no matter how many physicians she called, the diagnosis never changed.
