Fu Yingying nodded gratefully and turned to Fu Weiwei. “Are you coming with us, or acting on your own?”

“Of course, I’m following you, Sister Yingying! Wherever you go, I’ll go!” Fu Weiwei replied eagerly.

Zhang Xuan glanced at them and asked, “By the way, did you manage to find any Falling Earth Pearls? And how did you encounter so many Blue Foxes?”

Fu Weiwei looked at Fu Yingying, who nodded, signaling her to explain. After a moment’s thought, she began recounting:

“We entered this area and fell into a water pool, which brought us here. Using Fox Charm Destiny, I tried to locate Falling Earth Pearls, but before I could find any, we encountered the Blue Foxes. At first, Shen Wujun could hold them off, but as the commotion grew louder, more Blue Foxes arrived, and he couldn’t keep up…”

“No Falling Earth Pearls at all?” Zhang Xuan frowned.

Fu Weiwei shook her head. “None. We still haven’t found any…”

As a test of Fox Charm Destiny, it was reasonable for success to depend on one’s ability to enchant the Blue Foxes. The number of Falling Earth Pearls found would logically correlate to how many Foxes were subdued.

“Try using your Fox Charm Destiny again and see if it lures any Blue Foxes,” Zhang Xuan suggested.

“Understood!” Fu Yingying agreed, activating her Heaven’s Fate.

Sure enough, the moment she sensed the presence of Falling Earth Pearls, several Blue Foxes emerged from the darkness of the cavern. Their eyes glowed red, and their snarls were filled with malice.
