The light from the explosion was blinding, its intensity so great that it seemed to consume everything in its path.
When the light finally faded, the abyss was in ruins. The ground was cracked and broken, and the air was filled with the remnants of the explosion. Yao Xi and Yue Yun stood facing each other, their auras still radiating with power.
"Do you want to continue?" Yue Yun asked coldly.
Yao Xi didn't respond.
The two women stood in silence for a moment, their auras clashing in a silent but intense confrontation. The battle was far from over, and both of them knew it. But for now, they had reached a stalemate.
Ning Yue and the Dragon Ancestors, who had been watching the battle from a distance, could only stare in awe. The power displayed by Yue Yun and Yao Xi was beyond anything they had ever seen. It was a clash of titans, a battle that would be remembered for ages to come.
Long Er, his golden eyes filled with determination, turned to Ning Yue. "We can't just stand here. We have to help her."
Ning Yue nodded, her expression resolute. But before she could make a move, Yao Xi's voice suddenly resounded.
"This battle is not yours to interfere in," Yao Xi said, her voice cold and commanding. "Stay back, or face the consequences."
Ning Yue hesitated, her eyes flickering between Yue Yun and Yao Xi. She knew that Yao Xi was right—this battle was beyond her current strength. But she also knew that she couldn't just stand by and do nothing.Yue Yun, sensing Ning Yue's hesitation, turned to her and gave a slight nod. "Stay back. This is my fight."
Ning Yue clenched her fists, but she ultimately nodded in agreement. She knew that Yue Yun was right-this was her battle, and she had to trust her to handle it.
With a deep breath, Yue Yun turned her attention back to Yao Xi. "Let's finish this."
Yao Xi's veiled face remained expressionless, but there was a flicker of determination in her eyes. "Very well."
The silence stretched for a moment, the tension in the air thick and heavy. Then, with a sudden, explosive movement, Yao Xi raised her hand. The white light around her intensified, coalescing into a blinding sphere of energy.
Yue Yun, mirroring Yao Xi's movement, raised her hand as well. Her moonlight aura surged, forming a radiant orb of lunar energy. The two spheres, one of pure white light and the other of ethereal moonlight, hovered in the air, pulsating with power.
Without a word, Yao Xi and Yue Yun thrust their hands forward. The two spheres shot toward each other, colliding in mid-air with a deafening roar.
BOOM!
The collision unleashed a shockwave of energy that rippled through the abyss, shaking the very foundations of the World Tree.
Yue Yun and Yao Xi stood firm, their eyes locked on each other, their auras flaring as they poured more power into their attacks. The two spheres of energy, one white and one silver, swirled and danced, their colors intertwining in a dazzling display of power.
For a moment, it seemed as though neither side would gain the upper hand. The two forces, light and moonlight, were evenly matched, their energies locked in a fierce struggle for dominance.
But then, with a sudden, unexpected surge, Yao Xi's white light began to push back against Yue Yun's moonlight. The radiance of the moon, though powerful, was being overwhelmed by the sheer intensity of Yao Xi's light.
Yue Yun remained calm and exerted more strength.
"It's over," Yao Xi declared, her voice echoing with cold finality.
With a final, blinding flash, the white light consumed the moonlight. Yao Xi's attack surged forward, heading straight for Yue Yun.
But just as the white light was about to strike, Yue Yun suddenly smiled.
"I'm waiting for this moment." She said coldly.
The light, pure and radiant, erupted from within her, intertwining with her moonlight aura. The two energies, seemingly different, merged together, forming a new, even more powerful force.
With a powerful cry, Yue Yun unleashed her final attack. A massive wave of combined moonlight and light surged forward, colliding with Yao Xi's white light.
BOOM!
The collision was even more powerful than before, the shockwave shaking the entire abyss. The two forces clashed, their energies locked in a fierce struggle.
For a moment, it seemed as though Yue Yun's attack might prevail. The combined power of the moon and light was pushing back against Yao Xi's white light, threatening to overwhelm
it.
But then, with a sudden, unexpected surge, Yao Xi's white light intensified. The light grew brighter, more powerful, its energy surging with a force that seemed to defy the very laws of nature.
"Oh?" Yue Yun was slightly surprised. "Your Divine Linage is truly interesting. But I also have
one."
All of a sudden, an azure light lit up in her eyes, followed by a deafening dragon's cry.
ROAR-
The image of the mighty Azure Dragon God emerged behind Yue Yun, along with the bright moon. A tremendous pressure immediately descended, pressing upon Yao Xi and the others. Long Er and the other three Dragon God Ancestors stared at the image of the Azure Dragon God in a daze. They didn't expect Yue Yun to possess a Dragon God Soul similar to Yun Lintian's level.
Yao Xi trembled slightly, and her power faltered, allowing Yue Yun to push back. Without hesitation, Yao Xi thrust her hand forward, exerting more power.
BOOM!-
A deafening explosion occurred and filled the entire space with a blinding light.
As the light faded, everyone could be seen standing in their respective positions, unharmed. However, the surrounding space cracked crazily, and countless spatial rifts emerged.
The silence that followed was heavy, broken only by the faint rustling of the World Tree's
leaves.
Yao Xi, without a word, turned and walked away, her white robes billowing behind her. Her form gradually faded into the distance, leaving Yue Yun alone in the ravaged abyss.
Yao Huang, who had been watching the battle with bated breath, took a deep look at Yue Yun before following Yao Xi, with Mo Han and Mo Qian close behind. They disappeared into the void, their forms swallowed by the darkness.
Ning Yue rushed to Yue Yun's side, her eyes filled with concern. "Are you alright?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly.
Before Yue Yun could respond, a trace of blood flowed out of the corner of her mouth. Her moonlight aura flickered, threatening to dissipate. The battle had taken a toll on her, pushing
her to her very limits.
"I'm fine," Yue Yun said, but her voice was weak, her body swaying slightly.
Ning Yue's eyes widened in alarm. "No, you're not," she said, quickly moving to support Yue
Yun. "You need to rest."
Yue Yun turned to look at her and asked, "Can you control the World Tree now?"
