Myth Beyond Heaven

Chapter 2848 - 2848: See You Again

A cold smile touched Yun Lintian’s lips. “Because I know Nian Shi. He already has an agreement with Yin, but it’s limited—only on the surface. Nian Shi has to guard against Yin just as much as we do.”

“After all… Yin is an existence equivalent to the Creator. Neither Nian Shi nor I are his match alone.”

The words hung heavily in the air.

Yue Yun clenched her fists. “Then what’s your plan?”

Yun Lintian turned his gaze toward the shattered sky, where remnants of divine battles still lingered. “For now… we play along. Nian Shi wants to eliminate Yin first—so do I. After that…” His voice trailed off, but the unspoken truth was clear.

After that, we settle our own war.

Yue Yun exhaled sharply. “You’re gambling with the fate of all existence.”

Yun Lintian met her gaze, his own unwavering. “I know.”

Silence descended.

A moment later, Long Si sighed and said. “It seems this is the only way.”

Long Wu nodded in an agreement. If there were anything to be blamed, they should blame themselves first for being weak and unable to help Yun Lintian.

Nantian Fengyu looked at Yun Lintian and said. “Junior brother, I can help you fight now.”

Yun Lintian smiled and said. “You’ve become more powerful again, Fifth Sister.”

He swept his gaze over everyone and said. “Let’s go back first.”

Yun Lintian waved his hand and walked into the Gate of Beyond Heaven.

Yue Yun and the others quickly followed, leaving Ning Yue and the World Tree behind…

The moment Yao Xi stepped through the portal, the endless void of the Divine Realm stretched before her—an infinite expanse of swirling stars, galaxies spiraling in the distance, and the faint hum of celestial energy filling the air.

Madame Leisure appeared beside her, her willow-like hair fluttering as she took in the sight. “Master… the aura here… it’s exactly the same as back then!” she whispered, her voice trembling with nostalgia.

But Yao Xi didn’t care. Her crystal-clear eyes burned with a singular purpose—Yun Tian.

Without hesitation, she shot forward, her divine light cutting through the void like a comet. Madame Leisure barely had time to react before she hurriedly followed, her spirit form flickering as she struggled to keep up.

Soon, she arrived at an ordinary looking star. It was none other than the Beyond Heaven Realm.

The Beyond Heaven Realm was a paradise untouched by time—lush forests stretched endlessly, waterfalls cascaded from floating mountains, and the air itself shimmered with spiritual energy. It was a realm of serenity, a place where gods could forget the burdens of eternity.

But to Yao Xi, it was more than that.

It was home.

Her heart clenched as she took in the familiar scenery—the towering trees, the rivers of liquid starlight, the distant peaks where she and Yun Tian had once sat together, watching the cosmos unfold.

“It’s… still here,” she murmured, her voice cracking.

The Beyond Heaven Realm had been destroyed in the Divine Realm War, reduced to ashes in the conflict between gods. Seeing it whole again, untouched by tragedy… it was too much.

Tears welled in her eyes, but she blinked them away. No time for weakness.

She descended toward a small wooden hut nestled beside a roaring waterfall—the very place Yun Tian had always retreated to when he sought solitude.

Her feet touched the soft grass. The sound of rushing water filled her ears.

And then—

The door creaked open.

A tall, broad-shouldered man stepped out, his hair tied loosely behind his back, his eyes filled with warmth.

Yun Tian.

He blinked in surprise, his lips parting as he recognized her. “Yao Xi? What are you—”

She didn’t let him finish.

With a choked sob, Yao Xi lunged forward and threw her arms around him, burying her face in his chest. Her body trembled as centuries of grief, rage, and longing poured out in an unstoppable flood.

Yun Tian stiffened for a moment—then, as if understanding something profound, his expression softened.

He wrapped his arms around her and patted her back gently. “It must have been rough,” he murmured, his voice warm and steady.

Those simple words shattered her completely.

Yao Xi clutched him tighter, her tears soaking his robes. “You have no idea…”

Madame Leisure landed quietly nearby, her eyes glistening as she watched the reunion. She clasped her hands together, her heart swelling with joy for her master.

Yun Tian glanced at her and smiled. “Xianxian, you’ve grown.”

Madame Leisure bowed deeply, her voice thick with emotion. “Master Yun… it’s good to see you again.”

Yun Tian chuckled, but his attention quickly returned to Yao Xi, who still hadn’t let go. He rubbed her back soothingly. “Come on, let’s go inside. You can tell me everything.”

Yao Xi finally pulled back slightly, her crystal-clear eyes red-rimmed but fierce. “No,” she said firmly. “I can’t tell you everything.”

Yun Tian smiled gently and suddenly asked, “Is Yun Lintian doing well?”

Yao Xi and Madame Leisure both froze.

Yao Xi’s grip on his robes tightened. “How… how do you know about him?”

Yun Tian chuckled and gestured for them to enter the hut. “Since you two could come back, it means Yun Lintian must have already reached the Primordial God Realm.”

Madame Leisure’s eyes widened. “Master Yun… you…”

Yao Xi stared at him, her voice trembling slightly. “You knew?”

Yun Tian poured two cups of spirit tea, the fragrant steam curling between them. “Wouldn’t it be strange if I, the inheritor of the God of Fate, didn’t know this?”

Yao Xi looked at him. “So… it’s true. You knew everything from the beginning.”

Yun Tian took a slow sip of tea, his eyes calm yet profound. “Yun Lintian must have told you not to reveal the future to me. But in truth, it doesn’t matter—I’ve already seen all possible outcomes.”

Yao Xi leaned forward, her crystal-clear eyes burning with urgency. “Then tell me—does Yun Lintian win in the end?”

Yun Tian set down his cup. “That depends on his decision.”

“What decision?”

“Whether he’s willing to sacrifice himself.”

The words hung heavily in the air. Yao Xi’s fingers clenched around her teacup. “Sacrifice… himself?”

Yun Tian’s gaze grew distant. “To defeat Yin, someone must take the Creator’s place. But that path… leads to erasure from existence.”

Madame Leisure paled. “Then… Young Master Yun will…”

Yun Tian exhaled slowly. “Unless he finds another way.”

Yao Xi’s voice turned sharp. “And you—you knew this would happen, yet you still walked into your death back then?”

Yun Tian smiled gently. “Some threads of fate cannot be cut. My death was necessary—to ensure Yun Lintian’s birth.”
