Couple seats, as the name suggested, were seats for couples.
Of course, sometimes good friends would sit in these seats.
In couple seats, there was no armrest in the middle, and the seats were more luxurious, equivalent to a double sofa.
And being in the last row meant you could do whatever you wanted.
However, considering the infrared cameras in the theater, it was best to save more private activities for home.
Fortunately, Jiang Miao didn’t need to worry about any of this. Even though he was sitting in couple seats with Senior Sister, the two of them would hold hands at most.
But this was his first time sitting in couple seats with a girl after all. He followed Senior Sister to the seats and politely sat on the far right.
Perhaps out of her own sense of reserve, Su Huaizhou didn’t immediately lean towards Jiang Miao either but sat on the far left side of the seats.
While couple seats were designed for two people, if people squeezed a little, three could barely manage to fit.
With the way they were sitting now, there was a large space in the middle. They looked like a couple sulking after a small argument.
But just like with couples who argued, they quickly reconciled.
Not long after sitting down, Jiang Miao leaned his head forward to peek at Senior Sister Shen Yu and Senior Zhang Panfeng on the right. He could only see their legs, so he relaxed.
Then his left hand started to inch its way dishonestly towards Senior Sister.
Su Huaizhou was already waiting for him, with her right hand resting obediently on the seat. From the corner of her eye, she saw his cautious movement, and a smile tugged at her lips.
In no time, Jiang Miao’s fingertips touched Su Huaizhou’s.
Both of their hands jolted away slightly as if they had been electrocuted, but the next second, they reached out to each other again in sync.
Their hands clasped together, building a bridge between them.
As Jiang Miao gently stroked the back of Senior Sister’s smooth and delicate hand, he kept hypnotizing himself in his head, This is just for material. This is just for material, while keeping his eyes glued on the trailers playing on the big screen to try and calm his nerves.
…
The movie soon started playing.
Island Keeper was a simple story. It mainly described the true story of Wang Jicai and his wife, who had been silently guarding an isolated island on the country’s border for 32 years.
Although it was called an island, it was really just a large reef with a diameter of less than a hundred meters.
At the beginning, the scenes of Wang Jicai battling the wind and waves to protect the island was more gripping, but the rest of the story was relatively calm.
Although Su Huaizhou and Jiang Miao appeared to be watching the movie intently, their minds were actually focused on their intertwined hands.
As the lights in the theater dimmed and the surroundings fell into darkness, the only light came from the screen, casting a soft glow on their faces.
The atmosphere in the couple seats instantly became more ambiguous.
However, while things were slightly ambiguous here, the scene on the other side was quite different.
“Keep your voice down, or they might notice,” Shen Yu whispered nervously while squatting down.
“Got it.” Zhang Panfeng half-knelt as he followed behind Shen Yu. The two of them were like a pair of ducks as they sneaked from the last row to the second last row.
The last two rows were couple seats, so the height of the seat backs in the row ahead was about half the height of the seat back in the last row.
As long as Shen Yu and Zhang Panfeng lowered their bodies slightly, Jiang Miao and Su Huaizhou, sitting behind them, wouldn’t be able to see them at all.
Especially in the dimly lit theater, the two people in the last row were either paying attention to the movie or each other, so they wouldn’t see any movements in the row ahead.
Moreover, once the movie started, the various sound effects provided the two of them with additional cover.
So the two of them smoothly sneaked to the couple seats right in front of Su Huaizhou and Jiang Miao.
However, they didn’t dare to sit up straight. They both slouched low in their seats, half-leaning against the backrests, careful not to let their heads show.
Zhang Panfeng was 1.8 meters tall. As he half-laid in this position, his entire butt was hanging in the air, which required a lot of core and leg strength.
Shen Yu sat in the seat near the aisle. As soon as she settled down, she couldn’t wait to poke her head out from the side to see what Zhouzhou and Junior Brother were doing.
But just as she peeked out, she immediately shrank back. After thinking about it, she turned around and lay on top of Zhang Panfeng, wanting to use the gap between the seats to look back.
“… What are you doing?” He was shocked by her sudden action. When he felt her entire body pressing down on him, he could feel his blood rushing upward.
“Don’t move,” Shen Yu whispered. “There’s a light on the aisle floor. It’s too bright, and I’m afraid of being discovered.”
While speaking, she leaned closer to the gap and looked at the row behind.
Then she saw Jiang Miao and Su Huaizhou holding hands and watching the movie with serious expressions.
“Why are they sitting so far apart?” Shen Yu murmured. “I thought they’d kiss by now.”
“Do you want to take a picture?” Zhang Panfeng, half-lying with Shen Yu on top of him, found his face facing Shen Yu’s chest. His slightly hurried breathing seemed to allow him to smell a faint fragrance.
“You can’t take pictures in the theater,” Shen Yu said, still peeping at the couple and completely unaware of Zhang Panfeng’s current state. “Besides, it’s so dark. Let’s just watch.”
As she was saying this, Shen Yu noticed Su Huaizhou making a new move. Her eyes lit up, and she quickly adjusted herself, leaning more on Zhang Panfeng to find a more comfortable position.
In the back row, Su Huaizhou had silently moved half a seat closer to Jiang Miao.
Before he could react, she had already taken his hand, circled it around her lower back, and placed it on the left side of her waist.
By the time Jiang Miao realized what had happened, he looked down to find his arm already wrapped around Senior Sister’s slender waist.
“Don’t forget to gather material,” Su Huaizhou whispered. “Just holding hands probably isn’t enough, right?”
“… Yeah.”
Since he was already holding her, he couldn’t possibly pull his hand back now.
Fortunately, there was still about half a fist’s distance between them, so they weren’t leaning against each other.
But even so, Jiang Miao could already get a vague sense of Senior Sister’s waist size by holding her.
It felt like his arm could almost completely encircle her waist.
Earlier, Senior Sister’s upper body had been covered by the gauze top, making it hard for Jiang Miao to see clearly. But now that he was holding her, her astonishing slender waist was fully exposed in his embrace.
And once a boy had his arm around a girl’s waist, there was always an instinctive urge to pull her entirely into his arms.
This was exactly what Jiang Miao was thinking, and this was exactly what he did.
Normally, he might not have dared to be so bold.
But today, they had held hands, touched thighs, and linked arms while shopping. Coupled with the movie’s atmosphere adding to the mood, Jiang Miao felt a surge of confidence.
He applied slight pressure with the hand on Senior Sister’s waist while glancing at her from the corner of his eye. As long as she showed even the slightest sign of resistance, he planned to stop immediately.
But Su Huaizhou showed no signs of resistance at all. When Jiang Miao’s hand tightened slightly, she naturally leaned towards him and rested her body against him.
Thump! Thump!
His heart was racing. Her scent enveloped him, causing his body to stiffen.
In the seats in front, Shen Yu, peering through the gap between the seats while lying on Zhang Panfeng, widened her eyes in amazement. She pressed herself farther towards the gap, trying to get a better view.
Wow!
Zhouzhou and Junior Brother~
They’re hugging!
Shen Yu’s heart trembled with excitement.
Suddenly, her knee resting on the edge of the seat slipped, causing her to lose her balance and fall.
Zhang Panfeng, pinned underneath, immediately reached out to hold Shen Yu’s waist, but her head had already bumped down.
“Hmm…”
“Uh…”
In the couple seats in front…
Shen Yu pressed down on Zhang Panfeng.
They stared at each other, eyes wide open.
The collision of their lips gradually turned from the initial pain to softness and sweetness.
