Chapter 1133 Over

On the planet where the meeting was supposed to be held, everything was now on the verge of destruction.

"What happened, Sir Geyvin?" Resin asked the highest-ranking council official on the planet.

"I received information that some members of the council attacked the Astros Empire. That provoked the monster just now, so the meeting has been postponed." Geyvin paused for a moment before continuing. "There won't be another meeting. Our council isn't united, but I didn't expect there would be people willing to do something like this. If that monster really is from Olympus, then we'll have to prepare ourselves."

No one had ordered reinforcements, yet some council members arrived and seized several planets from the Astros Empire. A faction within the council was responsible for this.

Geyvin understood now why that monster had been so furious.

"If this continues, it will lead to war," Geyvin said, narrowing his eyes.

"Sir, are the people from the Divine World really that different from us?" Resin asked.

"Yeah. The Divine World—the planet Imperium—is the only place that can sustain God-level beings. On top of that, the people there live in an environment rich in mana, making their bodies much stronger than ours," Geyvin explained.

This was their goal.

The Divine World.

...

Elsewhere, on another planet, shockwaves tore through the land as figures clashed in the sky.

Eztein fought fiercely alone against Jethru, Manu, and another expert. He had already taken down the other two.

Manu was attacking wildly, without any regard for defense. Pain racked her entire body, making it hard for her to think straight. Because of this flaw, her strikes lost focus, and she could barely follow Eztein's movements.

The only one who could keep up with Eztein was Jethru. However, maintaining this pace was difficult, as he constantly had to avoid being struck by Eztein's weapon.

"It's hard, isn't it?" Eztein laughed.

He lunged forward and swung his spear in a wide arc. Jethru bent his body to dodge it, then kicked off the air and slashed with his sword. Eztein shifted his stance, blocking the blade with the spear's handle.

Lifting his foot, Eztein launched a fierce kick. Jethru reacted quickly, raising his arm to block it.

Even so, the force of the kick sent him flying several meters back.

At that moment, Manu closed in on Eztein, bringing her weapons down on him with all her strength.

"Die!! Argh!!"

Eztein blocked the attack, and a violent clash of energy erupted on impact.

Bang!!

Jethru didn't rush in. Instead, he watched the fight for a few seconds—just enough time for Eztein to potentially finish off Manu, who was unable to think clearly.

'I can take a hit from him. As long as it's not from the spear, it shouldn't do much to me,' he thought.

An attack from Eztein's spear could make someone feel excruciating pain, confusion, and uncontrollable rage. This was a valuable advantage in a life-or-death battle.

Swoosh!

Jethru charged forward. He immediately fired a bolt of lightning, forcing Eztein and Manu apart. Then he dove downward while his other comrade flew above.

Eztein glanced at Manu, who rushed him again, before flicking his eyes upward and downward to track the others.

"Argh!!" Manu roared in pain as she swung both her daggers.

But Eztein already knew how to respond. In less than a second, the red skull on his left shoulder—representing the Fiend of Jealousy—detached and flew away. Instantly, another flaming red skull took its place on his shoulder.

"The Fiend of Comfort."

The red skull opened its mouth, its eye sockets burning with a bluish glow.

Ohm!

A wave of energy rippled outward.

Jethru, Manu, and the other experts froze for a moment as a strange sensation bubbled up inside them.

Manu was the most affected. All the pain and rage vanished instantly. She felt pleasant, even intoxicated, relieved now that the excruciating pain had disappeared.

Before she realized it, Eztein flashed in front of her and drove the [Hell Fiend Spear] through her heart.

"Ugh! No!!"

Manu's eyes widened as the metallic taste of blood filled her mouth. She screamed as the pain that had vanished suddenly returned in full force.

Eztein yanked his spear back, then ended her suffering for good. He drove the spear into her head, the vicious combination of three elements swirling along its length obliterating her defenses and destroying her brain.

"After something painful, of course one becomes a slave to comfort…" Eztein muttered, pulling back his spear and watching Manu's body fall.

Jethru and the other expert couldn't react in time—it had all happened so quickly.

"Well, emotions affect battle. I can't really blame any of you," Eztein said, glancing at them.

Meanwhile, Torkez had already eliminated eight experts.

He was a little tired from all the fighting. Taking a deep breath, he gathered his energy.

Nine opponents remained.

The pressure was a little lower now, making it more manageable. He knew he'd be able to wipe them out soon.

The nine remaining experts realized it too: sooner or later, Torkez would defeat them. Desperately trying to figure out a way to win only made things worse. Their minds were elsewhere even as they fought, and that lapse had serious consequences.

Their bodies were covered in wounds as they faced Torkez, who radiated a fierce, intimidating aura.

Meanwhile, the injuries on Torkez's own body had already healed.

He cast a glance at the battle raging above.

He saw that Eztein had also eliminated some of his opponents. Then Torkez turned his gaze back to the enemies before him.

"Let's finish this," he said, before charging at them.

Above, Jethru was attacking Eztein with wild fury.

"DIE!!!" Jethru roared.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Eztein blocked all of Jethru's attacks flawlessly. Then he stepped forward, lightning and fire bursting from his foot.

Jethru couldn't react in time and took a devastating hit to the chin.

"You lost focus. That'll cost you your life," Eztein said before spinning and delivering a powerful kick to Jethru's stomach.

Bang!!

Jethru was sent hurtling hundreds of meters away, a streak of blood running from the corner of his mouth. When he looked up, he saw Eztein was already standing over him.

"You're gonna kill me, right?" Eztein laughed, grabbing Jethru by the face.

With a powerful swing, he slammed him into the ground.

Bang!!

Eztein took a deep breath, tightening his grip on his spear.

His opponent had lost all composure. Victory was in sight.

He kicked off the air and dove at high speed, pulling his spear back as he gathered a massive amount of energy.

[Dividing Heaven's Wave]!!

Jethru looked up, eyes widening at the brilliant light of the three elements converging above him.

In the next instant, the combined force of the three elements crashed down on him, tearing through everything in its path before erupting in a massive explosion that shook the entire land.

Boom!!

A towering mushroom cloud rose dozens of kilometers into the sky. All the trees within range were uprooted as the shockwave swept everything away.

Torkez crossed his arms, summoning his energy as a shield. Even so, the sheer force of the explosion pushed him back.

"Damn! Is Eztein trying to destroy the entire land?" he muttered, squinting against the blinding light that illuminated everything.

Whoosh!!

Even the soldiers of the Astros Empire, hundreds of kilometers away, saw the explosion. The ground trembled beneath them before the shockwave finally reached their position.

The devastation was tremendous.

Violent energy spread outward, covering a vast area. Lightning, flames, and shattered earth filled the air, swirling in chaotic disarray.

After a few seconds, the tremors subsided. All that remained was the vast ruin left in the attack's wake.

Eztein hovered in the air, waving his spear to clear away the lingering smoke.

"It's done..." he muttered.

The strongest enemy experts had been eliminated. All that remained was to clean up the rest.

"I still have a bit of energy left—and it's enough," Eztein said, turning his head.

Eztein and Torkez worked together to finish off the remaining enemies. It only took a few minutes, as the two of them completely overwhelmed the council's forces.

But the destruction they had caused to the planet was tremendous. Nothing on the surface remained intact, making it uninhabitable. The violent energy lingering in the atmosphere wouldn't dissipate easily and was extremely dangerous for ordinary people.

They had defeated the enemy, but at the cost of this planet.

Eztein sat on the ground, staring at the desolate landscape.

"It's done," Torkez said.

Eztein let out a weary sigh and wiped the sweat from his forehead. "This damn council... I'm sure they sent people to other planets too."

"That's for sure. Let's go—we need to contact the others," Torkez replied.

"I know. I'm just... a little tired," Eztein said as he stood up.

The two of them flew into the air and met up with the empire's ships.

The battle on this planet was over.
