“I have a more concrete report from my Shadow Ant spies. According to their count, there are 2,300 Tier 8 Ants and 270 Tier 9 Ants, adding up to the 30 Tier 10s.”

Asha said to her teammates as they prepared for the next battle. Since there were two more blockages before reaching the Queen, they must face them in order.

They can’t skip the first blockage and go to the second. The first must be handled before the second and, finally, the third.

Now, they know the number of monsters and beasts they are going against, so they must first prepare for them. But this is a battle, so anything can happen.

“Thank you, Asha,” Lucy said, turning her attention to the rest of her teammates. They all knew the stakes had just risen.

“You all heard her. The next battle will be a difficult one, so we all should follow what Klaus said. This is a team, and we must act like one. To be able to defeat these odds, we must work as a team.” They nodded.

“Good. Now, since we know the odds we are going against, I will now share the teams. We will be fighting as one big team, but for the premises of the battle, these are the teams we must coordinate with.

Miriam, Aoi, Nia, Luna, Nuna, and Kathy will handle the thirty Tier 10 Ants.

Of course, you are not required to kill them all if you can’t. All you have to do is handle them and keep them back for at least thirty minutes.

That is the maximum time you will have to endure. I am sure by then, if nothing else arises from the unknown, some of us will come and help you.”

The six ladies nodded.

“Danny, Mark, and Kay, your job is to handle a Tier 9, and when done, you join the others to take care of the Tier 8s. Klaus wanted you three to fight Tier 9s, so be ready.”

The three friends looked at each other with determination in their eyes.

“Amelia, Linda, Sofia, Kilian, Vida, and Daniel, you six will fight on a separate battlefield as a team. You all have the fire element, which complements each other greatly, so you will fight as a team.

You will face the Tier 9 monsters along with Danny, Mark, and Kay. But they will leave after they are done with their task.

Jake, Scarlet, Jason, and Hanna, you will also become a team and fight on your own side of the battlefield. You will be handling the Tier 8s.

Choi, you and Ling will coordinate your metal attacks in the offense while Zing acts as your defense.

This means Choi, you leave your defense to Zing and focus only on the offense. You three will also handle the Tier 8s.

Nadia, Asha, and Miguel, you three will be the main strike force against the Tier 8s. I expect this battle to end within 20 minutes, so give it your all.

Of course, Miguel, you will be their guard, but you can also fight if you have an opening. Your teammates are not combat-type warriors, so protect them well.

As for you, Vira, your job is very simple. You are to protect Yasmin at all costs.

“As for Mason, Lily, Yasmin, Anna, and me, we will ensure you all have a good fight and control over the battle. If any of you have a question, feel free to ask before we move out.”

Danny, of course, raised his hand.

“Go ahead,” Lucy said.

“Since all 28 of us will be fighting, who is going to handle the unexpected welcomes?” His question was surprisingly sound, meaning he was learning. He usually asks stupid questions.

“I will step in. Although this is a long shot, I have measures to handle that, so I will be ready for when that time comes.”

He nodded.

“Then why don’t we start? I know you all are afraid of the odds, but fear not. We are a team, so we should work as a whole, and in no time, we will handle them all.”

They started moving toward the direction where they would be fighting.

Meanwhile, Klaus, who was atop a tree overlooking this, smiled.

“It’s a nice pair-up, but can they hold when they finally find out the dangers of facing Tier 10 beasts?” His smile spread cheekily as he snapped his fingers, making small golden runes fly out and enter their bodies.

“At least, this will help you hold on for a few minutes when the odds turn dire.”

“Why pretend to be cold when you are still giving them a boost?”

Queenie’s voice sounded behind Klaus, causing him to turn only to meet the gaze of Queenie and Nari, who chose to come and look at their sisters’ training.

Klaus didn’t answer. Instead, he snapped his finger again, sending runes toward the foreheads of the two ladies. After they merged with them, the presence vanished.

“What was that for?” Nari asked.

“We wouldn’t want to scare the residents in this zone off, right? They are here to train, so scaring the ants away with your presence wouldn’t be ideal,” Klaus explained, and the two ladies nodded.

Though they weren’t planning on showing their presence, the chances of the Tier 10 ants noticing them are very high.

“They are starting,” Nari said, ready to watch some action.
