Chapter 1582: Meeting Of The Light

Chapter 1582: Meeting Of The Light

CELESTIAL SECTOR – LEGION HEADQUARTERS.

Celestial Creator Shumiel had been bogged down by countless meetings for the past few months, and even his divine patience was reaching its limits.

The one he was currently in was especially tiresome because he mostly had to sit at the sidelines and answer questions when they were directed to him, and that was not often. He was known as a hammer, and his Legions represented his inclination. He was a warrior and detested the endless deliberation and politics in the upper affairs of the Celestial hierarchy.

At this time, the discourse centered on logistics, an essential aspect of any war effort, and so he endured the months of deliberations.

Shumiel would rather be in the field, deliberating on his last battle with the strange Dragon God that managed to disperse his Incarnation even when that should not be possible despite how weak of an Incarnation it was. A newly minted Old One defeating an Incarnation of a Celestial Creator was beyond shameful.

There were many odd things about that battle, from the rapid adaptation of that Dragon God to its new dimensional level to its unknown and powerful weapon.

That blade, what did he call it, the Red Moonlight Blade. Shumiel did not want for much, but that blade was something special, and if not for its presence in that fight, he would have easily killed that Dragon God ten times over.

Shumiel wanted that blade, and a sizable number of his trackers from his nine Legions had begun scouring existence in search of the Dragon God. If war was coming, and every indicator pointed out that it was indeed coming, he wanted that blade in his arsenal. Its vampiric effect that could allow this blade to grow in strength was among the best he had ever encountered.

According to the latest news, the Dragon God had been located deep in the dimension of the Chaos Bloods, rampaging across millions of worlds and killing countless Chaos Bloods. His name had become a curse on the lips of many of those foul creatures, yet Shumiel could not wait to deliver salvation to them.

If he was not stuck in this gathering, he should be out there battling this Dragon God and retrieving his lost honor and head. Shumiel did not like taking trophies, but this Dragon God was worthy of being mounted in his chambers. From the beginning of the Supreme Era to this day, there were barely a thousand heads on his wall; this was enough to show that the Dragon God would be among esteemed company.

The Celestial Creator sighed, knowing that his presence here was needed; as much as he would love to pursue selfish agendas, it was an indisputable fact that Reality was changing, and every fact was pointing at a single destination: war.

A war that was so severe it might become an Era Ending war by the various movements being detected in the surrounding Primordial Domains. Needless efforts could not be wasted on trivialities, and he needed to be available at his station when required.

All of this seemed ridiculous if he had thought about it for so long; the Supreme Era was so young, and its end was already knocking at the gates.

Shumiel was there when the Primordials remade Reality, and although he knew that the final confrontation between all the Primordial Domains was going to take place in the future, that future was supposed to be so distant that it was nearly impossible to assign a specific number to it.

Among their esteemed numbers as Celestial Creators, there were certainly rumors about great plans made by the Primordials at the beginning of the Supreme Era that would take an exceptionally long amount of time to complete.

Some of the most intelligent among them believed it was related to the proliferation of dimensions from the countless higher-dimensional immortal sprouting like weeds; however, it was hard to know the connection between these new dimensions and the end of this Era.

Rowan would not have been surprised at among the Celestial Creators; some of them had begun to infer the truth between the new dimensions and the end of Reality; he knew that Celestial Creators were among the most powerful immortals in Reality. Eva was one of them once, and the Lady of Shadows was an exceptional figure.

Shumiel was not the only one stunned by this development, and he was sure others were still reeling from this news of war. From the beginning of the Supreme Era to this moment, barely a thousand Minor Eras had passed, a thousand universal life cycles, and suddenly, the threat of the end was so clear on the horizon.

Despite all of this, Shumiel still hated sitting here when he should have been outside hunting and killing.

He had never seen these sorts of meetings as much of a bother before, but that was because he could easily send an Incarnation or any of his Sovereigns to take his place. It would not matter if there were to be a million meetings over the span of decades; to him, they were hardly worthy of his full attention.

They were now in a time of war, and such lax directives were no longer in play. Every meeting must be attended in person; total commitment and focus were expected.

“… There cannot be enough of the Destroyers was what I have always proposed, and this exceptional news of war has brought my claim to the forefront more than ever. I will plead for the consideration of the Archons and your attention, Adjudicator. I will be able to deliver the Celestial metals from a billion worlds of Light that have been carefully cultivated over the last three minor eras. Surely, that would be enough to push for two Destroyers. I request permission to oversee the Northern Quadrant of the Esinian Clusters. Nothing should delay this operation.”

The voice of Nariel, an especially ancient Celestial Creator who was well known among their circles for his greed and his unabashed lust for the position of a Throne.

If war was coming, Nariel stood a chance to gain a lot from it because he had the seventh most enormous Legions and was an Administrator over countless Celestial Realms.

The position of Administrator constantly changes hands every few Minor Eras, and if this great war commences when he still holds this position, he will gain enormous influence. There will be no new Administrator for a long time, even after the war ends.

The mention of the Northern Quadrant of the Esinian Clusters drew his attention because this was where the bulk of his Legion was situated. Was it possible that, at this point, Nariel was trying to subvert authority from him alongside other Celestial Creators who were also based here?

Rousing himself from his drowsy state, Shumiel glanced around the meeting chambers. A minor immortal may call this chamber an entire galaxy, but this place was a small chamber for the individuals within.

Located near the pinnacle of the Celestial City of Light, this chamber was covered by a golden haze that held trillions of blue stars and countless divine armaments larger than stars. Each of the Celestial Creators here was so massive that these stars were like mustard seeds floating around them.
