In the end, Lin Fan gathered everyone once again.
They were all confused why he had gathered them all, but they still came to see what idea he had come up with.

“You’re joking, right?” Yue Lan asked with a strange look on her face.

“I bet that she has someone else and she just said this to make him give up.”
It seemed that more of them were more willing to see him fail in wooing his girl than to succeed.
Though the main reason for that was because…they were single dogs as well.
They just didn’t want to see this young man being happy when they were still alone.
“Enough. Get back to work.”
When the rough voice of the leader of the merchant group rang out, everyone broke up from the show that they were watching and went off to take care of their business.
The young man still had that defiant look on his face, but he also went to take care of his business.

The others looked at the young man as if they were trying to persuade him to calm down since they didn’t want to get implicated in this matter.

So they knew that if this group wanted, they could have easily killed them all without making a single sound.
