SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS

Chapter 905 - 905: Good Bye Kent!

Suddenly Kent stopped his transformation and picked his dragon lion bow. He felt that the poison stopped showing effects on Lee. So, he decided to drag the fight as far as he can.

Thunder cracked across the skies above the Grand Arena of the Immortal Living Pool.

Kent’s armor was torn at the edges, blood seeping down from his shoulder. His lips were pale, but his eyes… they burned with a fire deeper than defiance. He stood there, arrowless now, his Dragon-Lion Bow gripped tight in his trembling hands.

Opposite him, Lee Dong, poison still corroding through his veins, stood with his saber spinning like a vengeful fox.

“I gave you many chances to kneel!” Lee roared. “Now you will die like a dog beneath my blade!”

Kent didn’t speak. He simply lifted his bow again.

“Boom” Lee attack came like a laser.

The First Attack came crashing like a mountain storm. Kent rolled aside, deflecting with an arrow which created a slab of rock earth, burning his own qi in the process.

“Wosshhh…”

The Second cleaved the air; Kent used Rain Shadow movement, sliding under the blade and firing a spiritless arrow at Lee’s ribs—buying a heartbeat.

Third, Fourth, Fifth—every move a dance on death’s edge. He twisted, fell, sprang back. A shattered armor plate fell from his left arm. Blood painted his chest. Big circular blast line formed between the two warriors.

The Sixth to Ninth attacks rained like spears from heaven. Kent erected Storm God’s barrier with 13 arrows, a flicker of defense that cracked into bits with each blow.

“HOW IS KENT STILL STANDING?” a disciple cried from the stands.

“Even after poison, Lee Dong still has so much power!”

“No… Kent’s forcing himself to move, his body can’t keep this up!”

Tenth attack—Kent created a large dome as a shield with wind arrow, which snapped in two with a pitiful crack. His arms screamed in agony.

Eleventh—he took it head-on with a sky piercing arrows, but it failed to stop the opponent attack completely. Kent placed the bow edge on ground like an anchor, sliding ten feet back, blood spilling from his mouth.

Twelfth—Lee faked a big spell and suddenly sent a red colour slash low. Kent staggered, clutching his leg, the tendon nearly torn.

Thirteenth—Lee raised into the sky in ZIg-Zag pattern, spun and cleaved down from the sky. Kent finally unleashed the NAGASTHRA given by Naga ancestor. The final trump card worked as it almost made a clear hole in the chest of Lee Dong.

The crowd watched in stunned horror. Kent was on one knee.

Even Bu Dong’s eyes narrowed. “Lee, Finish this already!” Bu Dong shouted angrily after seeing the hole in his son’s chest.

But then…

Kent stood again.

Wobbling.

Breathing heavily.

Eyes locked on Lee Dong.

A hush fell.

Kent’s lips cracked open. “You want to kill me… you’ll have to bring more than swords. Bring your life.”

Lee Dong snarled and screamed as his saber blazed to its peak. “everything will end now!” Lee shouted as he decided to use his last trump card which he is afraid to use because of backlash.

“Forbidden Dark Sun – Swallowing the Sky! DIE!”

He launched down with a blinding speed, saber glowing Dark-gold, the might of an Earth Immortal Peak Cultivator condensed into one single arc.

Kent had no time. No arrow. No spell. No more strength left.

He pulled the Dragon-Lion Bow string anyway.

Even without an arrow.

The bow screamed as Kent infused the last of his will into it.

Just as the saber was about to split him in half—

A piercing cry echoed across the heavens.

“SKREEEEEEEEE—!!”

From the stretched string of the Dragon-Lion Bow—

a magnificent Lady phoenix spirit burst forth, cloaked in flames of violet and crimson, wings stretching wide like a divine goddess awoken from a millennia of slumber. Her eyes were ancient, sorrowful, proud.

She flared once—BOOM!

The blast shattered the sky. Space trembled… even the spectators thrown out of their seats. many closed eyes in pain. The bow string in Kent hand broken apart.

Lee Dong screamed as he was hurled hundreds of meters into the air, spinning like a leaf in a storm, his body breaking through the upper barrier of the arena with a sonic boom.

Every single spectator jumped to save themselves from severe wounds.

Even Bu Dong stood frozen.

“That was… a sealed spirit ancestor?”

Elder Liam gripped the railing. “That bow… had a Phoenix Ancestor’s soul sealed inside. Why would she sacrifice herself for a mere Mid-Earth magus…?!”

In the centre of crater, Kent blinked slowly. The bow in his hand had splintered into small pieces with cracks running all over.

The string dissolved like stardust.

Then… rising from the fragments—

a ghostly image of a regal phoenix woman, robes of flame, wings like woven silk, hovered in midair. Her gaze was fixed on Kent.

Her voice rang softly in his ears—though none but Kent could hear it.

“Child of Fire and thunder… you have carried my bones further than I deserved. In your courage, you reminded me of the kings of the old realm. Let me rest in honor now.”

Kent could only whisper: “Thank you… ancestor. I will remember this favor!”

The image smiled faintly.

Then faded into the wind—leaving behind a trail of glimmering motes, merging into the air as if returning home.

Kent dropped to one knee, gripping his chest. The battle wasn’t over yet.

But the silence across the Grand Arena was deep—profound.

Even in Lee Dong’s fall, and Kent’s gasping frame—a truth had been struck like thunder through immortal hearts.

This was no mere rogue cultivator.

This was a warrior sculpted by tribulation.

A man who—even if broken—could force the heavens to answer.

The Grand Arena of the Immortal Living Pool was coated in dust, cracked stone, and the thick, pulsing tension of life and death.

Blood marked the battlefield like war paint, and silence stretched as Lee Dong slowly pushed himself up from the crater he had created upon impact. His robes were torn, his face smeared with blood and dust—he slowly raised his hand.

From his storage ring, he pulled a golden box, etched with intricate runes and sealed by divine scripture. Murmurs rippled across the arena.

“Is that…?”

“A 7-star Heaven Pill? One of the Ten life saving wonder pills?”

Even some of the wealthy Immortal Clansmen gasped.

Tq you all…
