VILLAIN MMORPG: ALMIGHTY DEVIL EMPEROR AND HIS SEVEN DEMONIC WIVES
Chapter 985 - 985: His Special EveningVillain Ch 985. His Special Evening
Jane couldn’t resist chiming in. “Believe me! We weren’t planning on crashing the meeting, but now that we’re here, I think we deserve some fun. Right, girls?” She winked at the others, who blushed but nodded in agreement.
“Absolutely,” Larissa added, her voice still carrying that hint of possessiveness.
Zoe, still holding her cushion like a shield, grinned. “And who knows? Maybe we’ll have to crash the event too, just to keep an eye on things.”
“Zoe!” Allen exclaimed, though he couldn’t help but laugh at the idea. “You’re not really planning on doing that, are you?”
Shea, who had been watching the exchange with a smirk, finally spoke up. “No promises, Allen. We have to make sure everything goes according to plan, right? Don’t worry, we won’t do anything stupid,” she winked.
Kafra couldn’t help but chuckle at the banter. “Well, it sounds like you’ve got your hands full, Allen. Just remember, you’re the Devil Emperor—don’t let anyone forget that.”
Allen, feeling both flustered and amused, nodded. “I’ll do my best. But something tells me I’m not going to have much say in how things go.”
“Probably not,” Bella chimed in, her voice laced with humor. “But we wouldn’t want it any other way.”
Kafra, clearly enjoying the playful atmosphere, decided to wrap things up with one last tease. “Alright, everyone, let’s give Allen a break before his face turns any redder. I think we’re all set for the event, so let’s get back to work. And Allen… good luck with your ‘romantic’ endeavors.” She winked, clearly enjoying the double meaning.
Allen, now thoroughly embarrassed but also relieved that the meeting was over, managed to muster up a smile. “Thanks, Kafra. I’ll need it.”
The girls, their earlier embarrassment now turning into playful confidence, chimed in with their goodbyes.
Kafra finally closed out the meeting with a grin. “Alright, everyone, enjoy your evening. And Allen… good luck.”
“Thanks… I think,” Allen replied, his face still flushed as he waved goodbye to the team. “See you all later.”
The screen faded to black, signaling the end of the meeting. Allen leaned back in his chair, letting out a long sigh of relief. “Well, that was something,” he muttered to himself, running a hand through his hair as he tried to process everything that had just happened.
The girls, still gathered around him, began to relax now that the meeting was over. The tension that had filled the room was finally dissipating, replaced by a more comfortable, familiar energy.
“I think we handled that pretty well, all things considered,” Zoe said, finally letting go of the cushion and stretching her arms.
“I agree,” Larissa added, stepping closer to Allen. “But you really need to be more careful next time.”
“Noted,” Allen said with a chuckle, the earlier embarrassment finally starting to fade into something more lighthearted. “But I’ve got to admit, you all handled that like pros. Especially when you had to cover yourselves up so quickly.” His tone was teasing, a grin tugging at the corners of his mouth as he remembered the chaotic scene that had unfolded just moments before.
The image of them using empty plates, flowers, and sofa cushions to cover their sexy outfits was both amusing and endearing.
Zoe rolled her eyes, though a smile was clearly visible on her lips. “Well, it’s not every day we have to turn a romantic entrance into an impromptu modesty scramble,” she retorted, her voice filled with playful sarcasm. “But I’d say we managed to pull it off.”
“Oh, definitely,” Allen agreed, nodding enthusiastically. “You all looked like a team of pros—idol-level, really. I mean, the entrance was… something else. Despite the timing being off, the way you all strutted in with that confidence and those poses—wow.”
Jane, who had been the most daring with her entrance, including the rose in her mouth, couldn’t help but laugh. “We were going for a dramatic effect. Didn’t expect the drama to come from the fact that you were in a meeting,” she said, her voice bubbling with laughter.
“And we didn’t expect to see the staff watching us,” Larissa added, shaking her head with a mix of amusement and exasperation. “I think my heart stopped for a second when I realized they could see everything.”
Vivian shrugged it off. “At least we gave them a show,” she said with a wink. “And hey, maybe we’ll inspire some new game content. ‘The Devil Emperor’s Ladies: A Special Event.'”
“That would definitely be something,” Allen said, trying not to laugh too hard at the thought. “Though I’m not sure they’d go for it. But seriously, you all looked amazing. I just wish it hadn’t been during a live meeting.”
Alice finally spoke up, her voice tinged with a mix of lingering embarrassment and a hint of mischief. “Should we do it again?” she suggested, her eyes darting around the room as if gauging the others’ reactions.
Zoe raised an eyebrow, her lips curving into a slight smile. “What’s the point? That entrance was supposed to surprise Allen, and we’ve already lost the element of surprise.”
Allen, still grinning from the earlier chaos, leaned forward in his chair. “Well, I wouldn’t mind a redo,” he said, his tone playful. “I mean, it’s not every day I get such an impressive entrance. And considering the circumstances, I think it’s worth seeing again.”
Shea, who had been observing the exchange with her signature smirk, turned to the others, her eyes glinting with playful determination. “I think Allen deserves another nice entrance,” she said, her voice carrying a tone that was both teasing and conspiratorial. She turned back to Allen, her smirk widening. “But we’ll need to get ready first.
We want to make sure it’s just as perfect as the first time.”
Allen nodded, his grin widening at the thought of a second, more intentional entrance. “Okay, I’ll leave you all to it. While you’re getting ready, I’ll order the servants to bring in the food. I made it myself, so I hope you’re hungry.”
The girls’ eyes lit up at the mention of food, especially knowing that Allen had personally prepared it. “You cooked for us?” Larissa asked, a hint of surprise in her voice. Stay updated via My Virtual Library Empire
