Chapter 2608: Lin Mu Versus Karlia

Karlia's aura raged and wrapped around her, subtly amplifying her power.

Lin Mu could feel her grip tighten, a clear signal that this was far from her limit.

"Strong… So this is what a real demon is like," Lin Mu muttered as he released his own aura.

HUALA!

At first, he let out his basic aura, a force potent enough to intimidate most beings. But soon, he unleashed the Tyrannical Aura of the Tyrant Bull.

Karlia smirked, unfazed by the oppressive energy. "Oh, you were hiding more than I thought," she remarked. "A body cultivator... now it makes sense. With that small frame, I assumed you were just another Qi cultivator."

To any ordinary human, Karlia's description of Lin Mu as "small" would seem absurd. After all, Lin Mu was tall and powerfully built. But to Karlia, a demon accustomed to towering physiques and hulking warriors, he might as well have been the size of a child.

"This is merely the size I maintain," Lin Mu replied evenly. "A larger body might grant greater strength, but it comes at the cost of agility and flexibility. My skills demand precision, and this form is optimal for that." As he spoke, his aura continued to swell.

WOOM!

WOOM!

The clashing auras stirred the air, whipping up fierce winds that bent the nearby trees.

"How big can you get?" Karlia asked, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. "Show me, and maybe we can have a proper fight!"

Lin Mu could see her fighting instincts in full bloom. Even if he declined, it was clear she would initiate a battle regardless. He wasn't one to shy away from a challenge, especially when it offered the chance to test his limits.

"Very well," Lin Mu said, a grin spreading across his face. "Though, what does the winner get?"

Karlia tilted her head, a rare moment of consideration crossing her features. Despite her impulsive demeanor, her responsibilities as the leader of a vast demon tribe gave her a sense of pragmatism. She wasn't just a warrior—she was a ruler who had to weigh the consequences of her actions.

"Whoever wins can claim a physical reward and ask as many questions as they want," she proposed.

"That works for me," Lin Mu agreed.

For him, the opportunity to learn from Karlia—a high-ranking demon and an experienced leader—was invaluable. No amount of time spent with Ziran could compare to direct insight from someone of Karlia's stature.

"Good," Karlia said, baring her sharp fangs in a feral grin. "I won't hold back, and neither should you."

Without warning, she lashed out with a punch.

BOOM!

The attack came fast, the close proximity making it nearly impossible to evade under normal circumstances.

Blink.

But Lin Mu wasn't bound by the constraints of normal space. In an instant, he vanished, leaving Karlia's fist to strike empty air. The force of her punch split the ground, leaving deep cracks that spread like a spiderweb.

Karlia's eyes widened as she spotted Lin Mu reappear ten meters away.

"My turn," Lin Mu said as his body began to expand.

HUALA!

Within seconds, Lin Mu's form swelled to a towering five meters. His arms bulged with muscles thicker than tree trunks, while his legs seemed like massive pillars rooted to the earth. His chest and back rippled with raw power, veins pulsating with Tyrannical Aura.

WOOM! WOOM! WOOM!

The sheer pressure of his aura shattered the ground beneath him. His glowing red eyes burned with the fury of a rampaging beast.

"Is this up to your standard?" Lin Mu asked, his voice a deep, resonant rumble that seemed to shake the very air.

For the first time, Karlia hesitated. Her heart pounded as she felt the overwhelming energy radiating from Lin Mu. Even as a Seventh Tribulation Stage Immortal, she couldn't ignore the primal dominance he exuded.

"This is it!" she shouted, a manic gleam in her eyes. "This is what I wanted to see!"

She charged at him, her speed blurring her form.

DANG!

Their fists collided with explosive force, sending a shockwave that toppled nearby trees and churned the earth into a crater. The impact rang out like a thunderclap, resonating for miles.

Karlia staggered back slightly, her fist aching. She glanced at Lin Mu's stance and saw that he hadn't moved an inch.

"Yes! Yes! This is the kind of opponent I need!" Karlia bellowed, her excitement mounting. She unleashed a flurry of punches, each one faster and more ferocious than the last.

THUD! THUD! THUD!

Her fists rained down on Lin Mu, producing dull, heavy impacts. Yet Lin Mu barely flinched. His body, reinforced by the Tyrant Bull's aura, absorbed the blows with ease. He calmly analyzed her attacks, noting her reliance on raw physical prowess rather than refined techniques.

"Is that all?" Lin Mu asked, his tone almost teasing.

Karlia growled, her pride stung. "Let's see how you handle this!"

She leaped back, her aura surging violently. Dark flames erupted around her, licking the air like the tongues of a hungry beast. With a guttural roar, she launched herself forward, her entire body wreathed in demonic fire.

Lin Mu responded in kind. Channeling the Tyrant Bull's might, he raised his massive arm and brought it down like a hammer.

BOOM!

The collision of fire and brute force created a blinding explosion. The ground beneath them collapsed into a smoking crater, while the shockwave flattened everything in a fifty-meter radius.

Both combatants were forced back, their auras clashing in a chaotic dance of power.

"Not bad," Karlia admitted, wiping a streak of dirt from her cheek. Her grin widened, revealing her sharp fangs. "But I'm just getting started."

She raised her hands, and the flames around her condensed into a blazing spear. With a swift motion, she hurled it at Lin Mu.

Lin Mu didn't flinch. Instead, he planted his feet firmly and raised both hands, summoning a translucent barrier of Tyrannical Aura. The spear struck the shield, causing it to ripple like water before dissipating.
